This podcast where Ashley and Chris, two game boys, chat about titles from their personal gaming history. Each episode, one of the hosts presents a game from their childhood, including a brief history of its development and any personal anecdotes. After playing the game off-mic, the second half of the podcast is a discussion of how it holds up and whether the nostalgia factor still stands. Ep.126 - Thinkrolls (iOS)
Tuesday Sep 13, 2022
Tuesday Sep 13, 2022
If you're a parent of a tot that likes games, or are trying to get your child into what is unquestionably the best hobby ever, then this is for you! In an episode we recorded back in April 2021, Chris tells Ashley all about Thinkrolls this week, a iOS logic platformer that teaches nippers the basics of gaming. It's a great game - so much so that Ashley decides to play it while we record. Keep rolling, rolling, rolling to find out how we got on!
Note: this one is from a while back and Ashley still can't remember the coding game he talks about at the 30 minute mark. Our apologies.

Ep.124 - Donkey Kong (Nintendo Entertainment System)
Saturday Sep 03, 2022
Saturday Sep 03, 2022
This week, it's this game where you climb up a poorly constructed skyscraper to rescue Pauline, a character you will then barely hear from for the next four decades despite all the effort you went through to help. Still, relationships are two-way streets, so maybe it's your fault as much as hers. Where were we? Oh yes! Donkey Kong is our game for this week! Join us!

Ep.121 - Toonstruck (PC)
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
Ashley and Chris turn toon in Toonstruck, a 1996 PC adventure game in which a video-captured Christopher Lloyd interacts with cartoons voiced by the likes of Tim Curry and Dan Castellaneta and inspired by the 'golden age' of animation from Disney and Warner Brothers. With that weight behind it, it surely has to be great... right? Listen in to find out!
